The hikers from Joensuu Latu went hiking from Kemihaara to Korvatunturi and back in September. Participants will show pictures and share their stories.
Cycling Across Africa II
Eero Oura recovered from his bone fracture at home and returned to cycling from Victoria Falls to Cape Town. He skipped 4500 km, but still had 3000 km left. Stunning pictures and stories.

November hike in Petkeljärvi National Park (open for all)

Experience the mystical November on a one-day hiking trip in Petkeljärvi National Park. We might have snow, it might be wet, and for sure days are short. During the day, we will walk 15-20 km. depending on the weather and the condition of the paths.
We make a campfire, if there is enough wood available. When packing your food, please keep in mind that we might not be able to light a campfire.
Please wear outdoor clothing and good shoes. Take a headlamp with you. Poles are recommended! The path is not very demanding – however the weather conditions and wet land might bring some challenges.
We travel to Petkeljärvi by carpool.

First snow skiing week in Kiilopää

Let’s go skiing on the first snow in Kiilopää!
We will travel to Kiilopää by bus. During the week, you can set up your own programme and/or participate on the trips and activites in the weekly programme of Kiilopää.
There are several options for accommodation, hotel rooms and cottages. Breakfast and dinners can be bougth from Kiilopää restaurant. If you wish to relax in Kiilopää Sauan World, please take your swimsuite with you.
The trip to Kiilopää will take place if we have enough of registrations. This trip is open only for members of Joensuun Latu.
The registration is open from 15 August to 15 September 2024.
